This year’s Global Financial Summit is scheduled for February 5-8, 2014 at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in The Bahamas.
Speakers at the event include James Grant, the editor of the Grant Interest Rate Observer; Steve Moore, member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board; and Peter Schiff (pictured), president of Euro Pacific Capital.
Other confirmed speakers include Richard Rahn and Chris Edwards from the Cato Institute; Professor Joel Stern, who teaches finance at five major universities, including Columbia, Carnegie-Mellon, Chicago, University of Cape Town, University of Singapore, and Universidad Francisco-Marroquin in Guatemala.
The Global Financial Summit is geared toward wealthy investors, top financial experts, economists, business leaders, and government officials offering “market solutions to world problems.” It is billed as an alternative to the establishment Davos conference held in Switzerland in late January.
