Silver Airways announces Jacksonville-Nassau service

Travel to Nassau is about to become much easier and more convenient for the Jacksonville-area, as Silver Airways recently announced it is starting a nonstop service between Jacksonville and Nassau May 28, 2016. For a limited time Silver Airways is offering introductory fares for connections to Palm Beach, Fort Myers, Tampa and Jacksonville at silverairways.com.

ALT TAG HEREFORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., February 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Travel to Nassau is about to become much easier and more convenient for the Jacksonville-area. Silver Airways today announced it is starting nonstop service between Jacksonville and Nassau on May 28, 2016.

In addition to the new Jacksonville – Nassau service, Silver Airways also recently announced it is starting nonstop service to Nassau from Tampa, Fort Myers, and West Palm Beach starting Memorial Day weekend.


To celebrate the new routes to Nassau, Silver Airways is offering the following introductory fares available at silverairways.com through 11:59 pm ET on March 31, 2016, for travel between June 1, 2016 and June 29, 2016:

  • $69* (one way, including taxes and fees) between Palm Beach (PBI) and Nassau (NAS);
  • $79* (one way, including taxes and fees) between Fort Myers (RSW) and Nassau (NAS);
  • $99* (one way, including taxes and fees) between Tampa (TPA) and Nassau (NAS)
  • $99* (one way, including taxes and fees) between Jacksonville (JAX) and Nassau (NAS)

*All sale fares are valid on specific, directional, days of week. All travel must be on/after June 1, 2016 and on/before June 29, 2016. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59pm ET on March 31, 2016. Seats are limited, subject to availability, are for non-stop travel only, and may not be available on all flights or operate all days of week. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Sale fares are only valid on new tickets. Changes or cancellations can be made for a $200 fee plus any difference in fare, if applicable. Tickets purchased from Silver Airways reservation call center will cost an additional non-refundable $25 per customer, per itinerary, and $35 (non-refundable) more per customer if booked at an airport ticket office. Commonwealth Bank has reported unaudited total profits of $58 million for fiscal 2015 with total assets reaching $1.5 billion at year-end, December 31. Earnings were up 9 per cent over 2014 when the bank reported total profit of $53 million. Total assets were up 4 per cent over 2014.
