The Ministry of Tourism is set to launch a new $3 million advertising campaign in South Florida that is dedicated to Grand Bahama, Prime Minister Perry Christie recently announced.
The campaign will highlight the “Grand Life” tourists both foreign and domestic can experience on Grand Bahama and comes at a time when the Bahamas Balearia Express and Bahamas Celebration Cruise Line would be expanding service offerings to the island as the new year (2015) ensues.
“I am pleased to announce that the Ministry of Tourism is expected to launch a $3 million new South Florida ad campaign committed to Grand Bahama Island.
“The campaign is branded “The Grand Life” and has the tag line of “Life is Grand on Grand Bahama.”
“This campaign could not have come at a better time especially as the island prepares to witness the beginning of an unprecedented cruise/stopover cruise ship and cruise ferry services from Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach gateways via the MS Grand Celebration, a newly renovated Bahamas Celebration Cruise Line ship,” said Prime Minister Christie.
The new cruise vessel will sail out of the Port of Palm Beach to Grand Bahama in early February 2015.
