Baha Mar is to host the inaugural Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival April 30-May 3, 2020, presented in collaboration with Meredith Corp’s luxury lifestyle brands Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure.

Baha Mar will bring superstar chefs, master sommeliers, and respected artists including Grant Achatz, Dario Cecchini, John Cox, Josh Niland, Sabato Sagaria, Marcus Samuelsson, Katsuya Uechi, and more to Nassau.

“We’re thrilled to welcome the most inspiring and influential talents from the culinary and arts spheres to Baha Mar and introduce them to our guests, while providing the opportunity for so many visitors to immerse themselves within the beautifully vibrant culture, arts and culinary history of The Bahamas,” said Karin Salinas, senior vice president, marketing, Baha Mar. “Our integrated resort destination is honoured to partner with such inspirational and powerful media brands to launch the inaugural Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival.”

The Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival will feature four days of thought-provoking cultural experiences led by world-renowned talent. Attendees will have access to intimate seminars, nightly fine dining experiences hosted by celebrity chefs in gorgeous locales, educational wine and spirit tastings, musical entertainment and a live auction benefitting local initiatives.

MSC Cruises recently welcomed the first passengers to its new Bahamas destination, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed December 9, 2019, between the University of The Bahamas and the Tourism Development Corp to help bolster the tourism sector.
