The move, to Atlantis on Paradise Island, marks a departure after three years at Rybovich Yacht Club in West Palm Beach, 18 years at Fisher Island in Miami and the rest at Cat Cay in the Bahamas. This year’s event will be from Nov. 8 through Nov. 10.
The ShowBoats International Boys & Girls Club Rendezvous is an annual gathering of large and luxurious mega-yachts and their owners who, through sponsorships and auctions, raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. Over its 25-year history, the event has generated more than $30 million for the 12 clubs in the Broward area, which serve 12,000 at-risk youths from age 6 to 18.
“We’re excited about the partnership with Atlantis,” event founder Rick Case said of the exclusive resort outside Nassau. “The additional options are endless, from spa retreats to gambling, family-friendly activities, shopping and more.”
