The Ministry of Finance in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank and the Environmental Resources Management group held a public consultation on Advancing Renewable Energy and Reconstruction of the Energy Sector at the University of The Bahamas January 8, 2020.


The purpose of the consultation was to present and communicate the outcomes of the preliminary strategic environmental and social assessment undertaken for the programme; and listen to feedback, ideas, comments and community opinions.

Today is a national holiday in The Bahamas to commemorate the country gaining majority rule for the first time January 10, 1967. The Bahamas Investor would like to wish everyone a pleasant and peaceful day off. Posts will resume January 14.
