Happy Majority Rule Day in The Bahamas

Today is a national holiday in The Bahamas to commemorate the country gaining majority rule for the first time January 10, 1967. The Bahamas Investor would like to wish everyone a pleasant and peaceful day off. Posts will resume January 14.

The Bahamas is today celebrating a national holiday to commemorate The Bahamas gaining majority rule for the first time on January 10, 1967.

To mark the achievements and sacrifices made by Bahamian men and women to create an independent sovereign country, January 10 is a public holiday in The Bahamas.

The Bahamas Investor would like to wish everyone a pleasant and peaceful day off. Posts will resume January 14.

Huang Qinguo, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Dr Hubert Minnis at the Office of the Prime Minister, January 6, 2020.

The Ministry of Finance in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank and the Environmental Resources Management (ERM) group held a public consultation on Advancing Renewable Energy and Reconstruction of the Energy Sector at the University of The Bahamas last week.
