NEW YORK, January 2015 /PRNewswire/ — New York-based luxury real estate auction firm Concierge Auctions, the industry leader serving high-net-worth individuals worldwide, is pleased to announce its two most recent closings. Innocence Island, the largest privately held island in the Bahamas, sold for $18.7 million, while Peace Ranch, a 610-acre property surrounded by national forest near Aspen, Colorado, sold for $17.2 million.

These monumental sales showcase Concierge Auctions’ dominance in the luxury real estate auctions sector. In the last six months alone, the firm has closed four homes valued over $10 million, three of which were more than $15 million.

“We created and dominate the auction space for properties valued over $10 million. There is simply no other firm that possesses our capabilities when it comes to this category,” said Laura Brady, president of Concierge Auctions. “Our solution works particularly well for properties that are incomparable and represent the upper tier of their given market. Real estate in this echelon, whether private estates, ranches, or islands, benefit from the precise marketing, transparency and qualified buyer competition we deliver.”

The auction of Innocence Island was conducted in cooperation with listing agent George Damianos of Damianos Sotheby’s International Realty, and buyer’s agent Stephen Donovan of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty. Located in the Exuma chain of the Bahamas, Innocence is comprised of 681 unspoiled acres of native fruit trees, tropical foliage, soft terraced hills and pristine beaches.

Peace Ranch sold in cooperation with listing agents Tommy Latousek and Mary Anne Meyer of Joshua & Co., and buyer’s agent Brenda Wild of Re/Max Premier Properties. The ranch and its five residences are located within a sea of national forest and near some of the best downhill skiing in the world. The sale included a stunning 150′ x 240′ outdoor riding arena in addition to a 29,000-square-foot, multi-use indoor horse arena that can accommodate upwards of 1,200 guests.

Other notable recent closings include Amber Hills, a secluded 13-bedroom compound built in the affluentBrentwood section of Los Angeles, CA, which sold for $16.06 million; and El Milagro, a nine-acre estate, also in California, located in the affluent community of Rancho Santa Fe, which sold for $14.3 million.

Upcoming luxury property auctions are scheduled in Mexico, The Bahamas, Hawaii, New Jersey and California, and many more are planned for the remainder of the winter and spring. Helen Hatton, managing director of Sator Regulatory Consulting, will address the regulatory challenges facing financial jurisdictions at the upcoming International Business & Finance Summit at the Grand Lucayan Resort on Grand Bahama February 5-8.

A real estate firm in Abaco announced this week it has hit $100 million in listings, as local developer says he is "cautiously optimistic" about investor activity.
