The Bahamas Institute of Financial Services (BIFS) has announced the launch of its newest Internationally Accredited Programme, a Certification in Corporate Finance–the first of its kind in The Bahamas

The course opened with a presentation by Keith Checkley, who has over 30 years experience in corporate finance, wealth management, risk management and financial planning.

The course is accredited through The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Thirteen professionals from a cross section of the business community, both private and government agencies, are participating in the course.

The Institute will launch a new group in September 2014.
