PLANO, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Department of Inland Revenue, Real Property Tax Valuation Unit (RPTVU) has signed a contract for technology-driven mass appraisal services using Tyler Verify™. Under the agreement, Tyler’s CLT Appraisal Services™ staff will use Tyler Verify software to conduct street-level imaging and data collection services for properties on the island of New Providence.
Tyler Verify will be used to digitize sketch and property record card data and capture street-level photographs of all residential and commercial/industrial properties. The project includes imaging and verification of each structure using a field-based stop, verify and compose approach to data collection. Staff will also perform physical onsite field inspections and data collection of newly discovered properties following the image collection process.
The Commonwealth of The Bahamas currently uses Tyler’s iasWorld® appraisal and tax administration software solution.
