Pinder to leave Cabinet – video

Ryan Pinder announced yesterday that he is stepping down from his post as Minister of Financial Services with effect at the end of this year. Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe says that the government is pouring extra resources into promoting Grand Bahama as a tourist destination as more facilities come on stream. Watch a ZNS Network news interview with the Minister here.

The Steering Committee of the International Monetary Fund’s Caribbean Regional Technical Assistance Center (CARTAC) welcomed the progress of the centre in scaling-up the delivery of technical assistance since the last meeting in May 2014, according to a recent press release from the IMF. Members of the Committee met yesterday in Nassau.
