Last week, Questex Hospitality + Travel produced the 2013 Caribbean Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange at The Cove Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

Questex and Site selected 60 top-producing, qualified North American buyers of meetings, incentive travel, conferences and events (MICE) and 60 suppliers representing Caribbean hotels, resorts, spas, destinations, tour operators, destination management companies and cruise lines to attend CMITE for the opportunity to book business and socialize outside of a traditional business setting.

The Cove Atlantis provided CMITE with its first venue in the Bahamas after three years in Jamaica.

CMITE will return to The Cove Atlantis next year from September 14 to 17. Meanwhile, the next GMITE event will be held February 19-21, 2014, in Los Angeles. GMITE Meets: Los Angeles will be held at the luxury oceanfront Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes. The two-day event will bring together top-tier West Coast travel planners responsible for MICE events with global suppliers in the Los Angeles market.
