DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Kerzner International, which through its subsidiaries, is a leading international developer and operator of destination resorts, casinos and luxury hotels, is pleased to announce the return of Helen McCabe-Young to the company as Executive Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, One&Only Resorts. In this role, McCabe-Young is responsible for the strategic development and oversight of Kerzner’s global Corporate Communications as well as worldwide sales and marketing for One&Only, including retail and spa business development. McCabe-Young will be based in Dubai and will work closely with and report directly to Alan Leibman , CEO of Kerzner International.

“It is with great pleasure that I welcome Helen back to the team. Helen was instrumental in launching and establishing the One&Only brand as an international leader in luxury resorts during her previous tenure with us. Having worked with her as well on the launch of Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, I know first- hand her capabilities in building brand strength across global markets and I’m excited to bring her back into the company as we enter a new phase of aggressive growth and innovation for the company,” said Alan Leibman , CEO of Kerzner International.

A marketing veteran, McCabe-Young first joined Kerzner in 2003 as Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing for One&Only Resorts responsible for developing worldwide Sales, Marketing and PR platforms for the brand. She was later appointed Chief Marketing Officer for Atlantis The Palm, Dubai for the global launch of the destination resort in addition to One&Only, a position she held until departing the company in 2009 to pursue her own entrepreneurial interests.

Most recently, she co-founded Place360® Health + Spa an integrated health center and spa in Del Mar, California. In a very short period of time, Place360 has garnered key recognition, including being named “Best Medi-Spa” 2011 by SpaWeek Luxe Awards and also ranking among the top three best spas in San Diego by the San Diego Union Tribune in 2011. Prior to 2003, McCabe-Young was Vice-President, Marketing for Silversea Cruises Ltd where she lead the brand’s strategic marketing efforts including the launch of two new ships which more than doubled the size of the company and helped position it as the world’s number one ultra-luxury cruise line.

“I am thrilled to be joining Kerzner again at such an exciting time of global expansion,” McCabe-Young said. “With the upcoming opening of One&Only Sanya, China and other plans for aggressive expansion in the works, our potential for economic growth and industry innovation is immense. Nothing excites me more than new projects with the potential to break the mold to create new experiences that inspire people. I’m looking forward to once again collaborating with a great team of top industry professionals.”
