The Central Bank of The Bahamas Governor John Rolle briefed the media yesterday following a report by the Monetary Policy Committee.

In the Monetary Policy Committee Press Briefing Rolle said that the Bahamian economy grew slower last year due to the impact of Hurricane Dorian.

Indications are that the domestic economy sustained its modest growth during December last year, according to the latest monthly economic report from The Central Bank of The Bahamas. Read the full report and report summary here.

The Central Bank of The Bahamas Governor John Rolle says that there has been a positive response to the pilot of the Sand Dollar digital currency on Exuma, with around 1,200 digital wallets being created. Watch an interview with Rolle here.
