StarPort Resorts has released more details about the planned Port St George marina and waterfront destination on Long Island, which it announced towards the end of last year.

The 640-berth facility will be the largest in The Bahamas and will be able to accommodate vessels up to 100 ft.

The marina will offer services including customs, immigration, boat cleaning and repair facilities, fuel, supplies and chandlery, alongside a retail and entertainment centre with shops, restaurants and bars.

There will also be a 50-room hotel, more than 300 residential units including luxury condominiums and family homes.
