The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism has entered into a sports tourism partnership with the New Orleans Pelicans in hopes of positioning The Bahamas as the premiere vacation destination throughout the Gulf South, which includes the states of Louisiana, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and Texas.

Gonet Bank & Trust Ltd recently made a $100,000 donation to the Hurricane Matthew relief effort.
