This week will see investors, business executives and regional government leaders gather in Grand Bahama for the Bahamas International Investment and Business Forum (BIIF).
The event is a collaboration between The Grand Bahama Port Authority, Limited (GBPA), the Bahamas Investment Authority (BIA) and the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC) and has been designed to provide an opportunity to promote investment in The Bahamas and foster business linkages with the international investment community.
Etienne Dupuch Jr Publications Ltd and its flagship business and investment publication The Bahamas Investor are proud to be media partners of the event, which runs February 20-21 at the Grand Lucayan Resort in Freeport.
“I think it is a tremendous opportunity for The Bahamas, and Grand Bahama in particular, to promote its many advantages to the international investing and business community,” says publisher Etienne Dupuch Jr.
“Grand Bahama has a lot to offer in terms of location, infrastructure and logistics, as well as tax benefits and other incentives for businesses.”
The event will see a keynote address by Prime Minister Perry Christie and presentations by Minister of State for Investment Khaalis Rolle, GBPA chairman Ian Fair and Joy Jibrilu, director of investments at the BIA.
“We look forward to partnering with The Grand Bahama Port Authority, the Bahamas Investment Authority and the Commonwealth Business Council on this marquee event,” adds Dupuch.
