The Bahamas delegation attended the opening of the General Debate of the 74th United Nations General Assembly.

Representatives include Minister of Foreign Affairs Darren Henfield, Minister of Transport and Local Government Renward Wells, Bahamas Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Sheila Carey, Rickey Mackey MP, and Foreign Affairs Director General Sharon Brennen-Haylock.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Darren Henfield is in New York City for the 74th United Nations General Assembly, the Cabinet Office has announced.

The government yesterday signed two separate heads of agreements with Carnival for the $100-million development of a cruise port in Sharp Rock, Freeport, and an $80-million expansion of Half Moon Cay.
