The College of The Bahamas has unveiled the designs for a new residential facility to be constructed at the Oakes Field Campus, once the college gains university status next month.

The 1,000-bed, multi-purpose structure is being facilitated through a special public-private sector partnership involving the University of The Bahamas and Providence Advisors Ltd.

With The Bahamas 16 weddings promotional campaign less than a month away, The Bahamas is finalizing plans to ensure the multiple weddings are a success.

China Construction America, owner of Neworld One Bay Street which is the developer of The Pointe, has donated $100,000 to the Hurricane Matthew relief efforts.
