Orlando, FL. March 2014 (Newswire.net) — Global Vacation Network welcomes the new Hideaways resort in The Bahamas to their travel club because the resort offers Beach Front villas and cottages that are quaintly nestled around two freshwater pools, plus provides shoreline access to the Bahama island of Great Exuma. This new resort offers one-of-a-kind private units along with convenient access to all of their onsite resort amenities. The hotel-style premium services allow vacationers to relax and enjoy an indulgent vacation.

The new Global Vacation Network resort’s other option is the Hideaways Hillside units that feature an even greater amount of seclusion, because these privately owned units are individually decorated featuring views over the Elizabeth Harbor or tropical garden patios. Both the Hillside and the Beach Front units are part of the Palm Bay Beach Club, which includes access to water sports equipment, inviting pools, towel service, beach lounges, the restaurant, games and fitness rooms, plus much more.

About Exuma
The Great Exuma Bahama island weather is typically warm and breezy year round. The winter season offers a drier climate, with temperatures in the low to mid 80s F during the day and overnight lows that rarely fall below 70 F. There is always the occasional cold front though, that can move through the area which will bring the temperatures into the 60’s F range. June is typically when the island’s wet season begins, causing thunderstorms to roll in during the afternoon or evening hours, but the showers are usually very brief. Highs during the wet season can extend into the 90’s F, with typical low temperatures generally reaching the upper 70’s F.

The Bahamas has made Ethical Traveller's list of top ten ethical destinations worldwide. Efforts by the Bahamas government to preserve the unique ecology of the islands, hand in hand with sustainable tourism, earned it top spot. The country also invests heavily in social projects and has an excellent track record on human rights.

According to International Meetings Review the Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour Marina has appointed Brent Ingraham as the new director of sales and marketing. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to increase overall sales and create strong marketing campaigns for the resort’s group, leisure and marina offerings.
