The Chief Justice of The Bahamas, Sir Hartman Longley and Attorney General of The Bahamas, Senator Allyson Maynard Gibson, were in Grand Bahama 13 January, 2017, for the Opening of the 2017 Legal Year – Northern Region.

Members of the Judiciary marched to Pro-Cathedral of Christ the King for their annual Church Service, and then returned to the Garnet Levarity Justice Centre for the inspection of the Honour Guard and a reception.

The Web.com Golf Tour being held in Exuma got underway earlier this week at the Greg Norman signature golf course at Sandals Emerald Bay. Watch a report on the event here.

Minister for Grand Bahama Dr. Michael Darville believes in a tripartite agreement for economic growth and development for the island of Grand Bahama – which is inclusive of the government, the Grand Bahama Port Authority and the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce.
