Silver Airways expands with return to Nassau

Silver Airways recently announced it is expanding its Bahamian network by resuming nonstop service to Nassau. The airline will operate nonstop flights to Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport from Tampa, Palm Beach, and Fort Myers.

Silver AirwaysFORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., February 2016 (GlobeNewswire) —  Silver Airways announced it is further expanding its Bahamian network by resuming nonstop service to Nassau, Bahamas.

Silver Airways will operate nonstop flights to Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport from Tampa, Palm Beach, and Fort Myers, including:

  • Daily nonstop service between Tampa and Nassau;
  • Four weekly flights between Palm Beach and Nassau;
  • Three weekly flights between Fort Myers and Nassau.


To celebrate the new service, Silver Airways is offering the following introductory fares available at silverairways.com through 11:59 pm EST on February 29, 2016, for travel between June 1, 2016 and June 29, 2016:

  • $79* (one way, including taxes and fees) from Palm Beach (PBI) to Nassau (NAS);
  • $79* (one way, including taxes and fees) from Fort Myers (RSW) to Nassau (NAS);
  • $99* (one way, including taxes and fees) from Tampa (TPA) to Nassau (NAS)

In addition to the new Nassau service, Silver Airways is also resuming its popular seasonal service to Governor’s Harbour (Eleuthera) with three flights per week from Fort Lauderdale and George Town (Great Exuma) with five flights per week from Fort Lauderdale.
