Senator Delaney on amendments to the Insolvency Regime – audio

Speaking at a Bahamas Financial Services Board seminar titled "An Evolving and Dynamic Legislative Regime" held in Nassau last month, Attorney General John Delaney spoke about the recent changes being made to the jurisdiction's insolvency regime.

The Thomas A Robinson National Stadium sports venue on New Providence was officially opened February 25. More than 15,000 people turned out to witness the event and were treated to cultural performances, including a Junkanoo rush-out, athletics and a firework display. Watch a video of the event here.

Bahamas high commissioner and permanent representative to the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) paid a courtesy call on Koji Sekimizu, secretary-general of the IMO, in London at the end of last week (pictured after the jump). The two spoke about the upcoming Marine Environment Protection Committee Meeting and the safety of passengers on ships, among other things.
